Front End CSS Developer

Location: Remote – On-site office options in Ottawa and Toronto

Salary: $70k - $80k

About the Role:

As a Front End CSS Developer, you will become an integral part of the Digi development team, where you will leverage your skills in CSS and User Experience. You will be involved in gathering requirements, design, and development. Your work will extend across multiple projects and give you the opportunity to work with diverse solutions.

• Quick learner with an ability to work with an unfamiliar codebase
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective communication, presentation and storytelling skills
• Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
• Experience in a highly agile/scrum environment
• Self-starter that is resourceful and creative
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design
• Strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience as a User Experience Designer
• 3+ years of CSS/SCSS

Nice to Have Skills:

• Angular
• Material
• Experience with JavaScript
